Legafit solicitors acted on my behalf for my 20 year long residence appeal. They immediately realised what action was necessary and helped us find the evidences needed to prove my residence and my links to the U.K. Their preparation for my hearing was perfect and I was able to succeed in my appeal.

I have contacted Legafit Solicitors to help me with Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK earlier than I was supposed to do based on Discretionary Leave. Mahshid did an amazing job of going through my case history for the last 10 years and found that, legally, I should have been given IRL 3 years ago. She helped me with my early IRL. And the HO granted me IRL within the required time. Mahshid is the best, most experienced, kind solicitor I have ever known. She has been always nice, patient, attentive, understanding, and available at all times ( she was on holiday when she dealt with my case by email and telephone calls). Just to let you know that even been away, she is always available to deal with any immigration case. Thank you so much Mahshid years ago and thank you now. You are my forever Solicitor. You deserve more than five stars. You deserve billion and billion stars. Just to let you know how much I appreciate you. I already recommended Legafit to people with complex and easy immigration cases because I always trust Mahshid that she will be honest in dealing with their cases. Thank you Mahshid.

I contacted Legafit Solicitors about my immigration issue on an urgent basis. I had missed the deadline for applying for EU pre settled status and my case also had other complications. They responded quickly and explained the process rules for making a late application and helped me and my wife understand the documents we needed as evidence. Mahshid was extremely diligent and careful in the way she prepared my case and despite the difficulties I eventually got my visa. I would recommend their services to anyone needing help with complex issues. They are knowledgeable, friendly and responsive.

Legafit solicitors did an amazing job with my husband’s immigration appeal. They worked extremely hard from the beginning to create a clear plan and worked with us very closely for months to cover every angle of our case. We had no hope when we came to Legafit Solicitors but with their hard work and professionalism my husband won his appeal.

Can’t recommend these guys enough! When my husbands visa was refused and we had to appeal the decision, it was both our first experience with solicitors in general and I found it very difficult to decide on a firm. After much searching and research I decided to go with these guys and I can’t say how happy I am I did. Everything was clearly explained the whole way through from beginning to end. The team left no stone left unturned and really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible chance to get the best possible outcome. Thanks to their hard work my husbands visa was approved! Definitely definitely recommend 10/10!

Requirements for a UK Child Visit Visa

To qualify for a UK Child Visit Visa, you are required to demonstrate to the UK Visas & Immigration that you are a genuine visitor. You can prove that you are a genuine visitor by demonstrating the following:

You intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit;

You have no intention of living in the UK for extended periods through frequent or successive visits;

You do not intend to make the UK your main home;

You are genuinely asking for permission to enter the UK as a Visitor and for the specific purpose of visiting;

You will not engage in or undertake any of the activities prohibited by the Immigration Rules;

You have enough money to cover all reasonable costs associated with your trip to the UK without working or recourse to public funds.

In addition to the above you will also need to satisfy the UK Visas & Immigration that:

Adequate arrangements have been put in place for your travel to the UK, as well as your reception and care in the UK;

If you are applying to visit the UK without a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your care, you must obtain their written consent  to the arrangements for your travel to the UK, as well as your reception and care in the UK for the duration of your visit; and

Your UK Child Visit Visa must confirm whether you will be unaccompanied on your visit to the UK or travelling with an adult. If the Visa states that you will be accompanied by an adult on your travel to the UK, it must also confirm the identity of that adult.

The specific requirements, that may be applicable to you, will differ depending on your circumstances. You may wish to seek expert advice from an immigration lawyer.

What else do I need to know about the Child Visit Visa?

An application for a UK Child Visit Visa must be made from outside the UK and usually from the country in which you are permanently resident. However, citizens of some countries do not need to apply for a UK Child Visit Visa prior to their arrival in the UK and can apply for a Visit Visa on arrival at the UK Border.

If you successfully secure a UK Child Visit Visa, you will be granted a visa which will be valid for up to 6. During the validity of your Visit Visa, you will be permitted to leave and enter the UK multiple times, unless your Child Visit Visa is endorsed as a single or dual-entry visa.

As a Child Visit Visa holder, you will be able to visit family, friends, or travel to other parts of the UK.

As a Child Visit Visa holder, you will be prohibited from receiving payments from a UK source for any activities undertaken in the UK or from engaging in more than 30 days’ non-incidental study in the UK.

You must also show the UK Visas & Immigration that you have enough money to cover the costs associated with your trip to the UK without recourse to public funds. The costs associated with your visit will include, but will not be limited to, costs of your travel tickets, planned activities in the UK, and cost of maintaining and accommodating any dependents.

When considering whether you have sufficient funds to cover the costs associated with your visit to the UK, the UK Visas & Immigration will accept third party support from a UK Sponsor provided that you can show genuine professional or personal relationship with the third party Sponsor. The third party Sponsor will also be required to provide documentary evidence to demonstrate that they have the funds to cover the costs associated with your visit to the UK.
